Crank up the old wireless
2006-01-02 22:17 | Permanent Link | LocativeTomorrow's On Point radio show on many public radio stations like WBUR is titled "The Internet and Mapping - The Internet gets physical, integrating with the geography of our lives. We'll look at the ambitions of the "geospatial web."
Tom Ashbrook, the host will be interviewing Mike Liebhold of the Institute for the Future, Christopher Allen from Counts Media/Yellow Arrow, and Peter Morville who wrote Ambient Findability from O'Reilly.
Rekha Murthy of MIT is helping produce the show. I talked to her about it a couple of weeks ago and I suspect it will be pretty good.

This is the second locative discussion on NPR in 3 weeks!
The show might also be available as a podcast at this link after the show tomorrow.
